Who is Mood Creation'S?

Nathan, a young French artisan exiled in Montreal, specialized in the Tufting technique who puts his skills and creativity at the service of others to create personalized rugs and decorative pieces.

The genesis of Mood Creation'S

Like many people of my generation, I learned about tufting thanks to social networks. A real turning point for this artistic process which has gained many followers and curious people including me. Very quickly inspired, I wanted to try it, so I did 2 initiations with 2 workshops to discover and learn this knowledge. The first in Nice at "Le Tufting" by Karima, where I bought my beginner's kit to get started, and the second at "Atelier Paolo" by Guillaume Neves, a very inspiring artist who notably wrote a book on Tufting.

Needless to say, from the start of weaving it was love at first sight, I must have it in my blood, my grandmother was a seamstress. His Singer 31-15 is still in his room as decoration, the sewing machine ancestor of the modern tufting gun. Today tufting has become trendy, this artistic technique is popular for making unique decorative pieces. The infinite field of possible creations that tufting offered drove me crazy, literally. This is what appealed to me, the inexhaustible freedom of creation. Not to mention the feeling of satisfaction when we completely finish a rug and the emotion it gives us, that's when we know the work is finished.

Over time, I refined my art for more than a year. I had trials, failures and errors that taught me how to improve. I also learned as an autodidact by trying my own processes, with the aim of adding my personal touch and exploring my world. Today, I am proud to be able to exhibit and share my creative art to as many people as possible.

Like a real outlet, Tufting allows me to express my creativity by building with my own hands a decorative piece that is as rare in its uniqueness but also in the history it transmits. A bit like a tattoo whose meaning is personal to us.

What inspires me in particular for my artistic works is the World. The atypical landscapes, the monuments which themselves reflect a culture. Where nature coexists in harmony with humanity. I design idealized compositions in a revisited minimalist style by bringing a touch of originality with striking colors.

In search of making my passion my profession, I moved to Canada in Montreal to work on my brand. A city conducive to opportunities for artists and for me the opportunity to travel in search of new inspirations.
