Tufting Introduction
Lasting approximately 4 to 5 hours , I will come to your home with my equipment to give you a creative workshop around Tufting, or to my workshop. During this discovery initiation you will create a decorative piece with a design that you have chosen in advance, with a size of approximately 50cm . In addition, you will also have the possibility of tufting 3 coasters (-10cm).

Course of the Tufting initiation
Hardware presentation
Presentation of the material with which you will create your personalized rug: tufting gun, frame, canvas, wool and accessories. Safety instructions for safe tufting.
Training
Practical course on the use and handling of the Tufting gun. Practice weaving on a test canvas to get used to the manual machine.
Preparations
Place the canvas on the frame and trace the tracing of your design onto the canvas. Selection of colored balls.
Tufting
Let's go for tufting! Now express your creativity by giving life to a unique decorative piece. Thread by thread weaving of your design onto the canvas with the tufting gun. Super satisfying fun activity.
Rear finishes (FIN)
Once the tufting weaving is completed, you now need to glue the back of your personalized rug. To which we add a secondary fabric to cover the back of the creation for an ever more refined result. You're done, congratulations!
Mowing and finishing before
To ensure an exceptional result, this is the only step that I must carry out myself. This is the most technical and complex part of tufting which requires confirmation.
Delivery
Once all the finishing touches have been completed, your unique rug is ready to be shipped to you at my expense if you are in the Montreal area. Hand delivery or at your workplace or simple collection of your carpet from the workshop if you are in Montreal. At your service, choose what suits you best.
