This square rug is a committed textile work that celebrates love in its most universal form. Blending text, cultural symbols, and vibrant aesthetics, it juxtaposes two iconic languages—English and Chinese—to deliver a powerful message: love transcends borders, cultures, and differences .
🇺🇸 On one side, the inscription "I love you" is highlighted by the colors of the American and British flags: red, white and blue. 🇨🇳 On the other hand, the expression “我爱你” (I love you in Chinese) is powerfully displayed in a yellow and red palette inspired by the Chinese flag.
💬 By bringing together these two visual and linguistic universes in a balanced composition, this wall hanging questions, soothes, and challenges. It is a declaration of unity in diversity , a textile tribute to the strength of the human bond.
