Cristo is a vibrant textile work that celebrates one of Brazil's most powerful symbols: Rio de Janeiro's Christ the Redeemer . This hand-tufted wall rug revisits this global icon with a vibrant color palette , infusing energy, light, and hope into any home.
🖐️ Hand-tufted in my workshop , this rug embodies a dual mission: to honor a universal figure of peace and to re-enchant living spaces with a bold and joyful design. The open arms of Christ, in their emblematic posture, invite kindness, welcome and unity.
🎨 The bright hues used recall the Brazilian warmth , the party, the carnival, and bring to the piece a solar, spiritual but contemporary aura . Each color was chosen to evoke the diversity and cultural richness of Rio, while adding an artistic breath to this sacred figure.
🌍 The message of this rug transcends religion: it speaks of tolerance, openness, and hope . In an often fragmented world, Christ serves as a visual reminder of what we can collectively embody: love, faith in one another, and a striving toward light .
